Tom Brazier graduated from the Oxford School of Drama in 2006 after winning the Sir John Gielgud scholarship. As an actor Tom has performed at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open air venue The Dell. He has also performed extensively on the London Fridge as well as in India where he played Sir Andrew Agucheck in a six month tour of Twelfth Night playing in the palaces of Rajasthan. At the beginning of 2009 Tom began working as a director and founded Pilot Light Theatre Company, who, under his direction, quickly secured a residency at the Half Moon Theatre. His directing credits for Pilot Light include, Black Comedy by Peter Shaffer, The Beaux Stratagem by George Farquhar, Beyond Therapy by Christopher Durang and many pieces of new writing. As well as his work with Pilot light, Tom has directed for a number of other companies most notably for The Wireless Theatre Company. While working with us, he has had the opportunity to direct some of the country’s best loved actors Including, Prunella Scales (Sybil in Faulty towers) and her husband Timothy West (Going Postal) as well as Josephine Tewson (Keeping up Appearances) and Paul McEwen (Emmerdale).
