Susan trained at NCDT accredited drama school, The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA)in London, where roles included 'Katharina' in The Taming of the Shrew (dir. Kim Durham), 'Nina' in The Seagull (dir. Stuart Wood) and 'Anne' in The Passing-Out Parade (dir. Lennox Greaves).
Since graduating from ALRA, she has worked extensively in theatre, radio, TV, corporate videos and short films playing everything from the leading lady to the evil Krilitane school nurse in Doctor Who.
Theatre includes 'Louise' in Shoes (Hampstead Theatre), 'Celia' in As You Like It and 'Maria' in Twelfth Night, both at the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival; and ‘Kelly’ in GamePlan and ‘Kate’ in Birthday Suite, both at The English Theatre of Hamburg.
As well as writing and directing for the Wireless Theatre Company, Susan also plays the role of ‘Bulah Clack’ in her comedy drama, We are not the BBC alongside a very talented cast including Christopher Timothy.
