Stephen is a London based stand up comedian and writer who first got into stand up when he auditioned for Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol in 2006. Despite it being his first gig, he convinced the judges that he was worthy of a place in the competition’s final ten and performed his first ever stand up show at the legendary Comedy Store, London.

Since then he has been performing around the capital sharing the stage with the likes of Richard Herring, Russell Howard, Lee Mack, Andrew Maxwell, Reginald D. Hunter and Jeff Green.

Stephen worked with Jimmy Carr again in his comedy sketch show, for the extras of Carr’s “Comedian” DVD and was asked to contribute to Channel 4 Radio’s “4 Weekly News Show” alongside Frankie Boyle, Mark Dolan, Greg Davies, Katy Brand and Tony Law.

Stephen took his first Edinburgh comedy show Adolf Hitler and Mother Teresa walk into a bar… to the Fringe in 2008 where it received rave reviews. Due to the success of this first show, he took two shows the following year in 2009. 99 Problems But Your Mum Aint One and Creme Eggs vs Nazi Nana both sold out and were also very well reviewed.

Stephen's audio sitcom Gino Ginelli Is Dead has ranked high in the WTC charts since it's launch in 2011 and Part II, Gino Ginelli's Still Dead starring Lionel Blair is proving to be as popular. Stephen has also written a recent live recording, called OPEN SPOTS - which will be released this summer.
