Mariele trained at East 15 Acting School and since graduating has enjoyed many different roles in both film and theatre.
She represented East 15 in the Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio Acting Competition in 2003 which fuelled her love for audio performance and prompted her to found The Wireless Theatre Company.
Mariele's film credits include Rachel in short film 233 Miles, The Bride in award winning Who, and the acclaimed short film Short alongside Samantha Janus. Mariele played Tessie Driscoll in O'Flaherty VC at the Courtyard Theatre, winning Best Overall Play in the LOST Theatre One Act Festival 2006. Most recently Mariele played the ditzy Polly in The Critic at The Pentameters Theatre, and played a police officer for The Essex Police. In 2007 she spent three months in India with a production of Twelfth Night.
Since launching The Wireless Theatre Company, Mariele has concentrated mostly on producing and pushing the company forward - only acting in a small number of productions when she can't bear not to be performing any longer!
