8 Radio Plays in 8 Days
Recorded LIVE at The Edinburgh Festival 2014
We have just returned from 8 days at the Edinburgh Festival where we recorded no less than 8 new radio plays. It may well be our biggest gig so far and it was VERY hard work - however we had a great time and our cast and crew were legendary. The plays will be released every month from September.
Massive thank you to cast Adam Hall, Brandon Carter, David Beck, Ishia Osborne, James Parkes, Morag Sims, Michael Bodie, Nina Millns and Nigel Fyfe and crew David Beck, Emily Best, Gareth Brown, George Maddocks, Malcolm Thorp and Mariele Runacre Temple.
Buxton Festival 2014
We have just returned from our sell out recording of The Woman On The Bridge by Marty Ross at the wonderful Buxton Festival - starring Sarah Whitehouse, Ceri Gifford, Jessica Dennis and James Parkes and directed by David Beck.
We had SUCH a ball at the recording and it sounded fantastic.
The play will, as always, be online shortly - but in the meantime, check out the photos here: WOMAN ON THE BRIDGE
Tweet from Stephen Fry!
We were thrilled last week when friend of Wireless Theatre, Stephen Fry, Tweeted to his millions of followers about us.

If you're studying Shakespeare, sometimes you simply need to hear the words spoken out loud. For this reason, we have recorded key scenes from some of The Bard's most popular texts. Check out Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing and Hamlet:
With Romeo and Juliet to follow. All these productions cover the themes in all of the texts and star Edward Harrison, who has just finished performing in Henry V with Jude Law in London's West End.
Crazy Location Recording
Our radio drama, COURIER, about the perils cyclists face on London's roads today will be available to download from April. Do check out this film we made of the day we spent recording the play, on a bike, in Central London.
