Gareth Rubin

Gareth has participated in two Guinness world records: writing for the satirical weekly Newsrevue, which holds the record for the longest-running comedy show; and as one of 6,000 people who set a record for the world’s biggest coconut orchestra. As well as working as an actor, he has written for most British national newspapers, mostly about travel, the arts and architecture - although he will now never see his name in the Sunday Sport, which was always his goal in life.

His guide to Britain’s worst tourist attractions, Crap Days Out is published by John Blake Publishing and he recently finished his first novel, All Honourable Men.

He was once assaulted by Buddhist monks in Thailand.
