David is from Mauritius and trained at the National Theatre, Paris.
He first worked in repertory theatre playing French classics (Moliere, Marivaux, Hugo), later, with international directors such as Deborah Warner, Hans Peter Cloos. He is artistic director of Echange Theatre and directed The Exchange, Bal Trap, The Flies and Business (Pleasance) which he also wrote, as well as Square(d) (New Wimbledon studio).
