CROSS PARTY

A new comedy by Tom & Carolyn Harris

Cross Party

"One can't go wrong with Wireless Theatre"

Ear Story Radio Review

Cross Party

The debut radio play from Carolyn Harris and Parliamentary Member for Glasgow South Tom Harris.  It's a hilarious comedy about the political machinations in and around the formation of the Coalition - focusing on Member of Parliament Geoff Henderson, whose domestic arrangements are thrown into severe disarray when his wife Louise decides to stand for parliament.

Carolyn and Tom write about Parliamentary life with authenticity and honesty, this is a 'must listen' play for fans of political comedy!

THE PASSENGER & THE RIVER

A binaural recording

thepassenger_large

LISTENING TIP:

For best sound, listen to this binarual recording through headphones!

The Passenger & The River

Here are two stories – one of menace and one of haunting. On a deserted road in the New Forest, a couple come across a man lying, apparently injured, in the road. They carry him to their car - but on the way to hospital, the driver hears knife blades clashing behind his head and things are not as they might have seemed.

The second story takes us down to a riverbank; a bereaved lover from a boat accident, the nightmares, the footsteps that seem to come from the water itself…. This is a BINAURAL recording from 3D Horrorfi and must be listened to with headphones for the full effect. We suggest listening alone.... in the dark....! Not suitable for children under 16.

Lohengrin Remixed
operalogo

Working with DJs: DJ Switch (aka Tony Culverwell), DJ Rakabeat (aka Adam Volsen), Josh Tucker of Realsound Studios, Bristol, and composer Pete M. Wyer

What is Brabant's dark secret? A man arrives in the city of Cardiff, haunted by his past - he tells the chilling story of the deeds of Count Telramund and his sorceress wife, Ortrud. Few have survived the events that have befallen the people. But has the story ended, or has it followed him here?

The story of Lohengrin is a medieval Arthurian legend from Germany, it was famously turned into an opera by Wagner. But here, the story is retold from the perspective of an eye-witness who has lived through the events - and as is true true of many fairy and folk tales, the closer you get, the darker the story becomes...

Lohengrin Remixed was produced by Welsh National Opera Max Dept.

Excerpts of the music were remixed and re-imagined by pupils from:
