Beric Livingstone trained at Guildford School of Acting and since then has worked mainly as a singer, songwriter and producer.
He remixed the Jane's Addiction song 'Irresistible Force', Babywax's 'Ordinary Life' and created a version of Mama Cass's 'Dream a Little Dream' for the Battersea Arts Centre production of Beautiful Thing. As a solo artist and with indie bands The Healing Fields and Playing Nervous he has performed in concert and at festivals all over the UK and abroad, including at the Astoria, the Islington Academy and the Clapham Grand.
On radio The Healing Fields were the featured artists on Boston's Alternative Underground Show in 2011 and performed live sessions for ICR and Splash FM. Recordings include 'The Day They Left the World Behind', 'Sunrise', 'Playing Nervous' and 'The Great Outdoors' and Beric's tracks are included on the 'Inside The White Room' and 'UV' compilation CDs.
Beric wrote an original score for the Rose Theatre's production of Edward II and his music for TV and film is published by NorthStar Music. Over the summer of 2012 Beric wrote new arrangements of jazz, folk and pop songs and performed them with a jazz trio at the Pheasantry in London.
As an actor Beric's most recent appearance was in The Woods are Lovely at the Courtyard Theatre in 2011; he also occasionally features in the online comedy soap opera Pantry Manor. Beric is currently working on a new set of electronic-indie songs.
